Fixing my 2020 Duramax L5P after Belt Tensioner Failure

So apparently this is a common problem on the 2020-2023 GMC and Chevy HD trucks. Mine is a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD High Country with the Duramax diesel in it. This is the scanner I used: https://amzn.to/46zVUqI

I mean, who puts plastic pulleys on a 6.6 diesel engine? Is it just me or is this just an issue waiting to happen? This could very well end up being a class action lawsuit against GM.
